Drawing students worked with high contrast selfie's in order to create a Sharpie Portrait overlayed onto a story about themselves. A light watercolor wash was added into the background to show a bit of color. Check out the fabulous work done by Courtney Denesha above!

Photo 1 students are now focusing on working inside to capture dramatic effects with lighting and simplified subject matter. Special effects and retouching tools help to show different styles such as Sepia Tone. New tools they are learning are masking, blurs, healing brush, clone stamp, adjustments, and more!
Graphic Arts 1 students are busy learning the ins and outs of Photoshop. This piece shows how students can blend imagery and colorize a black and white photo to create an interesting effect. Nick Jerdee worked hard with help from his classmate, James Gallerani, to create a stunning blend featuring Tyrann Mathieu of the Arizona Cardinals. Nick's instragram upload led to a repost by Tyrann Mathieu which has gained over 23,000 likes and 700 comments! Very exciting! Can't wait to see what else he can do.
