Reflection, Refraction, and Projection

Reflection is the act of reflection, as in casting back light or heat, mirroring, or giving back an image.

Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one substance to another. Here, the light ray passes from air to glass and back to air. The bending is caused by the differences in density between the two substances.

Projection Use of equipment and lighting to cause an image of an object or original to be seen on a screen or projected onto another surface.

The "Bourne to be Artists" Spring Art Show & Auction was a great success due to the help of students, parents, local artists, community members, faculty and staff. Thank you to everyone for coming to support our talented young artists at BHS and to also support the first annual Senior Art Scholarship along with the Alzheimer's Foundation. Our scholarship recpient is Samantha Ledwidge who will be attending SMFA in Boston next fall.

The art was admired and complemented by all. Ms. Mason and Mrs. Donovan are very proud!
