Reflection, Refraction, and Projection

Reflection is the act of reflection, as in casting back light or heat, mirroring, or giving back an image.

Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one substance to another. Here, the light ray passes from air to glass and back to air. The bending is caused by the differences in density between the two substances.

Projection Use of equipment and lighting to cause an image of an object or original to be seen on a screen or projected onto another surface.
