11/28 In Class Assignment: B and G Block

Assignment: G and B Block 
This is to be done in class. I am going to check it off in PowerSchool today. If you do not do it it is a zero. No Makeups. 

I am out on a professional development day. You are to look at the two new assignments below and write a blog post discussing your ideas for each assignment. Attach images that you have found that inspire you to the post. Both will be done within the next few weeks before the holiday break.

*You are doing this blog post in order to get ideas that are different than your classmates. I want to see some creative thinking (part of your grade!)


Assignment 1: Double Exposure

EQ: How can you successfully blend two images in Photoshop?

This is a Photoshop project....You will show two examples of double exposure.

1. One that blends two photographs, one over the other 
2. One that blends at least two photographs to blend into a silhouette of a person

Start to research double exposure online....examples and some links are below but there are so many online....start looking!

Blog Post: Tell me what your ideas are. What do you think might look interesting blended? How can you get the shots or make it work? Their are many examples of nature, but what else can you do?

Assignment 2: Wood Transfers

EQ: What are some creative ways to display your photographs?

These are  hands on projects that you will make before the holidays.

1. You will create at least one wood transfer and 
2. one ornament. 

Blog Post: Look at the examples below. I do have some wood that you can use but it is just a simple block. Can you create something that is more exciting? Do you have access to wood at home or could you build something? What type of image can you have? Will you add text or a texture? Can this be a gift for someone? etc.
